Kapamilya actress Ivana Alawi will lead her first upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye titled A Family Affair, where four leading men will accompany her.
On March 22, Star Creatives Television, the TV unit of Star Cinema, announced Alawi is joining the project via a tweet.

“A Family Affair cast Ivana Alawi, Sam Milby, and Gerald Anderson on Star Magic Trade Event! Abangan ang pinakabagong teleserye na magpapainit ng gabi mo this 2022! #soon #AFamilyAffair #StarCreatives,” the caption said.
The said series was originally given to Bea Alonzo, featuring Richard Gutierrez, Rafael Rosell, Christian Bables, and Jameson Blake.
Alawi has been the replacement for Alonzo, and Blake was the only one remaining from the original main cast. Gerald Anderson, Sam Milby, and Jake Ejercito will give the other three leading men’s roles.
Alawi will portray the character of Cherry Red, and the four leading men will play the Estrella brothers.
Alawi admitted she felt nervous working with Milby and Anderson.
“I was very excited especially with the whole cast… pagpasok ko, natatakot ako, kinakabahan ako kasi Gerald and Sam, mga pinapanood ko lang iyan noong bata ako! Hahaha! Tapos, siyempre, excited to work with Jake and Jameson,” she said.
