On May 14, Kapamilya artist Alexa Ilacad said something was blossoming in her love team with KD Estrada at the media conference for Run To Me.
Ilacad related their characters to her and Estrada’s real-life relationship status.
“‘Yung story ni Jule and ni Wilson kakakakilala lang nila, parang there’s something blossoming, so yeah, ganon din. Exactly.”
She then confirmed that the KDLex love team is ready for ‘greater things.’
“Honestly, I think we are. This (stardom) is what we want. We are aiming for excellence, nothing less. So, of course, I will say we are ready for greater things, better things, what’s to come, stardom, yes. We do have what it takes. We continue to hone our skills, hone our craft, so why not naman di ba? So I feel like even though we’re very new, we can bring to the table what other’s can.”
As for her career, Ilacad expressed her gratitude for the opportunities, noting that it was her time to shine.
“I’m just so thankful, talaga. It’s a never-ending pasasalamat for me. Yun nga, like what I’ve said, it’s so surreal for me. And I feel like I always have to remind myself na capable ka, binigay ‘yan sa you ngayon kasi ito ‘yung time mo. This/ is God’s plan for you. And you’ve waited so long for this. So what are you going to do. I’m going to make the most out of it.”
As for their series, Ilacad stars with Estrada in their first digital series, Run To Me.
Joining them are Nikki Valdez , Malou Crisologo. CJ Navato, Karl Gabriel, Ivan Carapiet, Margaux Montana, Henz Villaraiz, Alexa Macanan, Matty Juniosa, and Sean Tristan.
The series, directed by Dwein Baltazar, premieres on Kumu on May 20 and iWantTFC on May 21.
