Kapuso star Kim Rodriguez appeared as an antagonist in Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series. She expressed her excitement about her new journey in showbiz.
On August 27, during the awards night of the 6th Outstanding Men and Women of the Philippines and Philippine Brand of the Year, Rodriguez revealed that she is part of a series.
She did not reveal the said project at the time, saying that she’d disclose the information if the character is already announced.
“Super excited na ako kasi panibagong journey, panibagong Kim, ayun nga. Iba talaga ito sa dating mga role na ginampanan ko. First time na mala-action. Nagte-training kami for that teleserye.”
Rodriguez started her journey in the entertainment industry as an extra on television shows. She got her first role in GMA Network’s Tween Hearts.
She appeared in numerous movies such as Oros (2012), Mga Mumunting Lihim (2012), Chasing Boulevards (2013), Ano ang Kulay ng mga Nakalimutang Pangarap (2013), and This Time I’ll be Sweeter (2013).
Rodriguez played villain roles in drama anthologies such as Wish Ko Lang and Tadhana.
