The two actresses were spotted along with other artists, taping scenes for the upcoming Coco Martin-starrer Kapamilya series.
Production for the upcoming primetime series, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, has been in full swing for more than a week. As fan-captured photos from the show’s first few days of taping began surfacing online, so do the names of previously unannounced stars, who are also part of the series.
During Dreamscape Entertainment’s first announcement of the series in December, last year, veteran and seasoned stars, including Charo Santos-Concio, Christopher de Leon, Susan Africa, Lito Lapid, Cherry Pie Picache, John Estrada, Irma Adlawan, and Allan Paule were introduced as some of the actors joining Coco Martin and Lovi Poe, who are headlining the series.
It appears, however, that many more are set to join the series, as revealed by fans who got the chance to witness the show’s first leg of taping. Aside from Pinoy Big Brother Teens big winner Ejay Falcon and singer-actor Marlo Mortel, new photos shared by fans showed that Lara Quigaman, Miles Ocampo, and Ryza Cenon, are also appearing in the series.
Cenon’s last appearance in an ABS-CBN series was the Angel Locsin-starrer, The General’s Daughter. The rumors of her being part of the series got confirmed by reposting a Facebook post. Interestingly, FPJ’s Batang Quiapo marks Cenon’s second time working with Martin, as she also played a major supporting role in FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. Meanwhile, Ocampo was captured in photos while doing scenes in Quiapo and Malabon.
Currently appearing in the Kapuso noontime show Eat Bulaga and Kapuso sitcomHappy To GetHer, Miles Ocampo, has not appeared in any Kapamilya series, since Sana Dalawa Ang Puso. The actress left ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, two years ago, and has since joined Maja Salvador’s talent company, Crown Artist Management.
