Award-winning educational program host Kim Atienza will show the “magic” of science to another group of guests in “Matanglawin” this Sunday (October 9) as he posts two challenges to members of the dance group Girl Trends from “It’s Showtime.”
Girl Trends Krissha, Jane, Erin, and Kamille have to figure out how to lift a wine glass just by using a straw, while Sammie, Leyana, Mikee, Joana, and Barbie have to think of a way how to stop the water from coming out of an upside down bottle using a cork, a peso coin, or Styrofoam ball.
Kuya Kim also gets to meet the proponents of Project SENTRY or Saving Environment Through Reward Yielding, where a dome-like machine instantly segregates plastic and paper in trash.
The students behind the project, Jazztine, Daniella, and Andrea, believe this is how they can do their part in lessening the amount of trash piling up in landfills.
