In response to rumors that Lunch Out Loud’s days are numbered, LOL host Bayani Agbayani expressed his regrets about the show.

In Ogie Diaz’s ‘Showbiz Update’ on March 23, he said LOL would air its last episode on April 29.

Despite the rumors spreading like wildfire online, LOL has not released any official statement.

In Agbayani’s statement on PEP on March 25, he revealed his regrets for the show’s untimely cancellation as it had high ratings.

He shared, “Sorry sa late reply. Di ko pa kasi alam kung allowed na kaming mag-comment e. But since all over the news na naman, magsasalita na ako. Para sa akin, nakakahinayang dahil maiksing panahon ng Tropang LOL, maayos naman ang rating namin.”

However, he said he must respect the network’s decision. Nevertheless, Agbayani still thanked the TV5 network for the noontime show LOL.

“Nagpapasalamat din po ako sa TV5, sa opportunity na maging host muli ng isang noontime show. Thank You Lord,” he said.

‘Lunch Out Loud’ premiered on TV5 network on October 19, 2020. After just over two years on air, the show will accordingly bid goodbye.
