On July 7, actress-businesswoman Ara Mina thanked her husband and daughter for supporting her first talk show.
During the media conference for ‘Magandang Araw’ at the Net25 Compound in Quezon City, Ara Mina shared how her husband, the businessman Dave Almarinez, supports her new showbiz project despite the busy schedule.
“Hindi rin ito mangyayari kung hindi ako sinusuportahan at pinapayagan ng aking asawa na magtrabaho. Minsan late na ako umuuwi, kahit talkshow lang ‘to, kasi di rin biro mag-shoot ng cooking, mga ganyan, kasi minsan may mga kailangan shots.”
Ara Mina and Alamarinez tied the knot in June 2021 in an intimate ceremony at the Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges with family and friends.
Also present at the Net25 media event is Ara Mina’s eight-year-old daughter Mandy. The host of ‘Magandang Araw’ detailed how her daughter kept her motivated throughout the production of her upcoming Net25 talk show.
“Buti na lang supportive ang anak ko. Mandy, pakita ka naman sa kanila, first time na sinama ko siya sa presscon. Ayan eight years old na siya.
“Ito ang aking supportive daughter, sabi niya, ‘Mama where are you going? Shooting? okay! Take care!’ Ayan naiintindihan na niya.”
She also noted that she and her husband are busy with their respective careers.
“At siyempre ‘yung aking asawa, na naiintindihan din ‘yung trabaho ko, buti na lang busy rin siya sa kanyang trabaho.”
As for the changes brought by her married life, Ara Mina hinted at how her perspective and priorities changed after tying the knot.
“Wala sobrang kontento na ko sa life ko, ang iniisip ko ay kung ito ba ay ikabubuti ng pamilya at kumbaga kailangan worth it lahat ng gagawin ko so I think this show is worth it. Kasi ‘yung sacrifice din ‘yung sa time.”
Ara Mina hosts the lifestyle program ‘Magandang Araw’ airing on Net25 on July 15, Saturday, at 3 PM.
