On August 10, the TV5 noontime show E.A.T had an on-screen cussing incident during their ‘Sugod Bahay mga Kapatid’ segment.

In the clip circulating on social media, Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon interviewed the ‘Dabarkads’ Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo, and Tugue Zombie.

However, out of nowhere, a person off-cam suddenly shouted and cussed on live TV. Manalo tried to steer the conversation to move forward with the segment.

As a result, netizens were quick to post the clip on social media, with most of them calling out the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board.

Earlier, MTRCB slapped ‘It’s Showtime’ with a violation after a cake-eating bit between Vice Ganda and Ion Perez, expressing concerns that it may impact the children present during the segment.

Netizens then called out the government office for not doing the same with Tito Sotto and Helen Gamboa’s on-screen kiss. Some even pointed to the family ties between Tito Sotto and his daughter MTRCB Chairperson Lala Sotto.

Other netizens also pointed out the ‘racist remarks’ during one of their ‘Sugod Bahay’ segments with their newest addition, Tugue Zombie. Tugue Zombie then downplayed the netizens’ concerns, citing that he didn’t feel offended by the comment.
