Chie’s reaction seemed to be triggered by Kyle’s response. Subsequently, some users came to Kyle’s defense, suggesting that there might have been a misunderstanding regarding his words. One netizen commented, “I think you might have misunderstood what Kyle meant, Miss @ChieFilomeno. I don’t think he was referring to the people he was with in the PBB house. Chie clarified her position, stating, “Yes madami siya ginawa na tinanong naman ni sir Luis kung ano pero hindi sinagot kahit ISA, dami palang ginawa eh, edi sana sumagot siya, chance na niya yun oh. If he was just CAREFUL with the words he used wala namang maapektuhan. Tao lang din ako masasaktan at masasaktan. I did nothing but protect his name because I still care.
