Filipino boxer and senator Manny Pacquiao posted a poll on his Twitter account, asking his fans about whom they want to see him fight next.

He wrote: “Who do you want me to fight next in the UAE?”

The choices were Amir Khan, Jeff Horn, Terence Crawford and Kell Brook. As the poll closed, Khan was crowned the Twitter users’ most favorite—garnering 44% of over 44 thousand votes.

On Facebook, however, netizens’ reactions were different. Instead of answering the senator’s poll directly, netizens used it to voice their opinion regarding his political timetable.

A certain netizen named Sofia de Guzman said that Pacquiao should fight for the people who elected him as a senator. According to her, the senator won in the 2016 election, hence, he should be working for the people of this country.

Another netizen named Pablo Medina answered “fight for the poor” instead of “fighting for money.” He emphasized that Pacquiao was elected as a senator so that he could do public services, and no to be a boxer.

What is your opinion about this issue? Should Pacquiao quit boxing and focus on his job as a senator or should he continue his “passion” while “helping” the poor?
