Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla are preparing for a new film! Hurray!
On February 38, Star Cinema posted a photo of KathNiel on its Instagram, confirming that the two did a pictorial for their upcoming film “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”
After doing the blockbuster film “Barcelona: A Love Untold,” the two actors will be returning to their romantic comedy roots for their new film under Star Cinema.
“Rom-com talaga ‘yung movie na ito,” shared Bernardo to ABS-CBN showbiz reporter Gretchen Fullido.
The 20-year-old also revealed that the film will be far from “Barcelona,” which is a heavy drama.
“The whole time ay hindi siya mabigat panoorin… Masaya siya na may matutunan tayo after,” she added.
Padilla then explained: “Hindi naman nawawala ‘yung bigat ng kada story pero ito kasi, compared sa ‘Barcelona,’ mas maraming comedy ito, maraming masasayang eksena, at mas marami ring characters.”
According to the King and Queen of Hearts, they will be portraying a married couple in the upcoming film. However, they didn’t give further details to avoid spoiling the viewers.
Bernardo also hinted that it will hit cinemas “very, very soon” although the release is still unknown.
Moreover, a teaser for the film was shown ahead of screenings of the LizQuen film “My Ex and Whys.”
Concurrently, other project from the love team is the sequel of ABS-CBN fantasy series “Imortal,” titled “La Luna Sangre.”
The series is also the third addition to the fantasy franchise of the Kapamilya network that began with 2008’s “Lobo.”
