The comedian and TV host Vice Ganda took a swipe at the elderly woman he called a liar. In an episode of their noontime show ‘It’s Showtime,’ during the segment ‘EXpecially for You,’ Vice challenged what Anne Curtis was saying.
During the segment, when the topic of first love being pure and innocent arose, Vice questioned the source of the statement, prompting co-host Anne to attribute it to general consensus.
“Sabi nila kapag daw first love, it’s so pure and innocent na talagang gini-give mo lahat ng pagmamahal mo,” said Anne.
Vice inquitred, “Sino nagsabi?”
“Sabi nila,” answered Anne.
“Be specific,” Jhong requested.
However, Vice pressed for specifics, leading to a subtle jab at Fermin.
“Ganyan yung mga marites e. Sabi ni ano… Pero ang totoo, sa kanila galing ‘yun” Vice shared.
The comedian insinuated that certain individuals, whom he characterized as “gossipers,” often fabricate narratives and attribute them to others.
“Ganyan yung mga tsismosa. Kunyari ito ang comment ni chuchu chuchu, sabi ni ganyan. Pero ang totoo wala naman binabasa. Sa kanya ‘yun. Echosera.”
He remarked that while people claim certain comments come from others, they actually originate from the likes of that old woman, whom he boldly labeled as a “liar.”
“Sinungaling ‘yang matandang ‘yan,” Vice strongly added.

And although Vice Ganda didn’t directly name who he was referring to, netizens who closely follow the issue assumed it was aimed at Cristy Fermin. For these netizens, Fermin is the one who indiscriminately releases negative issues about Vice Ganda, especially when “It’s Showtime” had a space on GMA Network.

The comment follows recent scrutiny of Fermin’s approach to commentary, particularly her habit of purportedly reading comments from her followers on her cellphone during her segments.
