Actor Dominic Roque has officially filed a cyber libel case against showbiz columnist and online host Cristy Fermin.
The case was submitted to the Office of the City Prosecutor in Pasig City.
According to an Instagram post by GMA Integrated News reporter Nelson Canlas, Dominic’s legal action is based on several malicious statements and innuendos made by Cristy on her YouTube channel, ‘Showbiz Now Na.’

This development follows a similar case filed by Dominic’s ex-fiancée, Bea Alonzo, against Cristy Fermin and Ogie Diaz, including their co-hosts on their respective online shows.
Bea’s complaint affidavit stated that she was a victim of defamation and malicious, false accusations made by an individual posing as someone close to her, which were then broadcast on the online programs of Cristy and Ogie.
Detailed information about Dominic’s case against Cristy has not yet been fully disclosed.
Dominic and Bea got engaged in July 2023, but news of their breakup emerged in February this year. Weeks later, both Dominic and Bea confirmed their separation through separate Instagram posts. The couple was originally set to marry in 2024.
