Top cockfighters from around the world will be competing in today’s first round of the elimination of the 2025 World Slasher Cup 9-Cock Invitational Derby at the historic Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The derby’s first elimination round will feature 114 match-ups of the best cockfighters.
Top fighters who will be clashing in today’s elimination round are four-time World Slasher Cup champion Tata Rey Briones, Dennis Lumpay, Doc Ronnie Magbalon, Felix Punzalan, Dicky Lim, Fiscal Villanueva, Jimmy Junsay, Ricky Magtuto, Doc Belle Almojera, James Uy, Darrel Mack, Paul Romias, Boy Sia, Nene Araneta, and eight-time World Slasher Cup champion Frank Berin to name a few.
Competitors with 2-0 record will move on to the 3-cock semi-finals on January 22, Wednesday, while those who scored at least a point in today’s first round elimination to stay in contention for the title.
