BINI’s Jhoanna Robles and Stacey Sevilleja, the latest celebrity housemates to enter the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) house, opened up about leadership and dealing with online bashing during a candid conversation with Big Brother, or “Kuya,” in the confession room.
Their entry comes at a pivotal moment in the house, where leadership tensions have sparked heated discussions, particularly after a viral confrontation between housemates Klarisse de Guzman and Dustin Yu, now dubbed one of PBB’s most iconic moments.
The clash between Klarisse and Dustin, which unfolded over the weekend, became a focal point for netizens and fans, prompting Kuya to ask Jhoanna and Stacey for their perspectives on the conflict and leadership dynamics. Reflecting on Klarisse’s outburst, both BINI members admitted to relating to her struggles as a leader under pressure.
“Gets ko rin si Ate Klang, Kuya, kasi siyempre, as a leader, nasa iyo lahat ng pressure,” Jhoanna shared.
As BINI’s leader, she described her non-confrontational approach, patiently giving chances to others until they recognize their mistakes.
“Hanggang kaya kong bigyan ng chance ang tao, binibigyan ko po, until ma-realize niya na mali siya,” she added. Jhoanna admitted to reaching her own breaking point in the past, noting that such moments, though messy, can strengthen bonds in a group, whether in the PBB house or with BINI.
On the topic of online bashing, Stacey revealed the group’s initial struggles with negative comments. “Noong una talagang super affected po kami, at sobrang pumapatol po talaga kami,” she confessed, attributing it to their bold personalities.
Over time, they learned to ignore the hate. “Bashing would never define us. It’s our hard work, it’s the love for what we do, ‘yun ‘yung magspe-, speak louder,” Stacey affirmed.
