Kapamilya actress Kira Balinger has addressed the viral online clip suggesting she was disrespected by Kapuso actress and ‘TiktoClock’ host Faith da Silva, saying there was “no issue at all.”
The supposed incident happened during the April 24 episode of the GMA Network morning variety show ‘TiktoClock’, where Kira and fellow ‘PBB Celebrity Collab Edition’ evictee Charlie Fleming were guest contestants in the show’s ‘Sang Tanong, Sang Sabog’ segment.
Kira was visibly still recovering after being blasted with powder twice due to wrong answers when she was handed the microphone to promote their reality show. However, just as she began to speak, Faith cut in for the commercial cue — a moment that some netizens perceived as rude.
A viral video clip of the scene was captioned “Kira Balinger binastos ni Faith da Silva sa TiktoClock?” — sparking backlash against Faith, who was called “unprofessional,” “bastos,” and even “starlet” by some commenters.

However, during a press interview on May 2 with fellow Star Magic artists Emilio Daez and Iñigo Pascual, Kira downplayed the controversy: “Actually, when I was there, hindi ko naman po feel na may kabastusan na nangyari.”
“Alam ko naman din na sa mga live show na ganyan, talagang may oras iyan. So, if they needed to cut the show, wala po talagang problema iyan sa akin.”
She also explained that she was still dazed from the game segment when the moment happened: “Nasabugan na ako… I’m still reeling from the moment na, ‘Oh my God, what do I look like? Dyusko, paano ito?’”
“Hindi ko pa makita yung prompter sa harapan ko. I think a little bit of the powder went in my eye, nalasahan ko din yung powder… I wasn’t really prepared in that moment kaya okay lang po sa akin.”
Kira’s calm and understanding response earned praise from fans, with many commending her grace and professionalism in handling the situation.
