A new era in male entertainment has officially begun with the launch of MAXBOYZ, an all-male dance group drawing inspiration from the global Magic Mike phenomenon.
The 14-member group made their fiery debut on July 29, 2025 at Viva Café, under the management of Wildstar Media and Production.
At the helm of the group is Mariposa Cabigquez, a former ‘Wowowee’ dancer and former Meycauayan City councilor, who now serves as CEO and choreographer for Wildstar. Mariposa envisions MAXBOYZ as a bold reinvention of Filipino masculinity, poised to break ground not only in the local scene but eventually on global stages.
The group is composed of 14 multi-talented performers: Aei, Ben, BK, Chadd, CJ, Dale, JJ, JP, RD, Red, RJ, SW, Ton, and Wolf. Each member was handpicked for more than just good looks—each brings a distinct energy, personality, and charisma to the stage.
While some members are fresh faces in the industry, a few are already familiar to fans through appearances in Vivamax films. However, Cabigquez clarified that Vivamax is not connected to the group’s name, although she acknowledged that three members have acted in its projects.
The launch event included a special behind-the-scenes VTR showing the group’s journey from auditions to debut. The crowd was treated to MAXBOYZ’s first-ever live performance, a show-stopping routine that blended precision choreography with raw appeal—earning cheers, whistles, and viral attention as videos of the event quickly spread online.
Social media buzzed with praise as the MAXBOYZ trended shortly after the launch, with fans praising not just their looks, but their undeniable stage presence and professionalism.
MAXBOYZ aims to bring a new standard of performance art in the Philippines—fusing high-level dance, theatrical sensuality, and confident masculinity. With plans that include live concerts, TV appearances, digital content, and viral TikTok campaigns, the group is just getting started.
Their goal? To become the Filipino symbol of bold entertainment—a homegrown Magic Mike, designed to thrill, inspire, and command the spotlight.
