Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda once again drew laughter from viewers after dropping a witty remark about a so-called “Showtime Ghost” during the Saturday (Sept. 6) episode of ‘It’s Showtime’.
In the ‘Laro Laro Pick’ segment, Vice and co-hosts Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario, and Jacky Gonzaga poked fun at the trending topic of “ghost projects” and “ghost students.”
The comedian then turned the banter inward, with Jhong jokingly asking if there was such a thing as a “Showtime Ghost.”
Vice quipped in response: “’Yong host na hindi pumapasok pero bayad!”
When Vhong pressed him to reveal who he was referring to, Vice only laughed: “Ayoko na lang magsalita!”
Vhong teased further, asking, “Nandito ba siya ngayon?” To which Vice replied with a grin: “Ghost nga eh…”
While no names were mentioned, the audience and fellow hosts burst into laughter at the playful shade.
The gag comes as ‘It’s Showtime’ continues to mix comedy with social commentary, often referencing current issues.
Recently, even Anne Curtis’ streak of attendance on the noontime show became a lighthearted talking point among fans after her occasional absences due to family duties and upcoming projects.
