The romantic drama ‘Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna’, starring rising loveteam Ashtine Olviga and Andres Muhlach, reportedly earned ₱25 million at the local box office after two weeks of theatrical run, according to circulating reports.

While expectations were high for the debut big-screen pairing of the so-called ‘AshDres’ tandem, the film’s performance was considered decent given several factors — including inclement weather and recent calamities that affected cinema turnout across the country.
Released on September 24, 2025, under Viva Films, the movie opened alongside Piolo Pascual and Kyle Echarri’s ‘The Ride’, as well as several foreign titles such as ‘Chainsaw Man: The Movie’ – Reze Arc and Cha Eun-Woo: ‘Memories in Cinemas’.
Despite the competition, ‘Minamahal’ managed to hold its own in select theaters, buoyed by the strong support of fans who organized block screenings nationwide.
According to insiders, these fan-organized screenings played a major role in sustaining audience interest. “Halos sold out daw ang tickets kapag may mall show si Ashtine at Andres,” shared one industry observer, adding that the film continues to draw crowds, especially among young audiences.
Meanwhile, the comeback re-release of ‘100 Awit Para Kay Stella’ — starring Bela Padilla, JC Santos, and Kyle Echarri — reportedly outperformed ‘Minamahal’ in its first two weeks, earning ₱50 million at the box office.
Despite this, supporters of the AshDres loveteam remain optimistic. Fans and industry watchers are already calling for a sequel, potentially to be shot in the United States, following the positive audience feedback on the chemistry between Ashtine and Andres.
Critically, ‘Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna’ has been praised for its sincerity and emotional depth. Directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, the film follows Raffy (Muhlach), a shy high school botanist, who expresses his love for Luna (Olviga) by giving her flowers at every meaningful stage of her life.
Muhlach’s boyish charm and unpolished authenticity complement Olviga’s grounded yet luminous portrayal. Critics noted her “relatable girl-next-door appeal” and emotional range as standout elements of the film.
While ‘Minamahal’ may not have reached blockbuster status, it has undeniably cemented the AshDres pairing as one of the most promising new loveteams in Philippine cinema — a strong foundation for what could be a long and flourishing partnership on screen.
