New Viva love team Rabin Angeles (21) and Angela Muji (22) continue to gain momentum—not just on-screen but in the hearts of fans who now wonder: May relasyon na ba ang RabGel?

The speculation comes as their launching movie, the Philippine adaptation of the 2012 Korean hit ‘A Werewolf Boy,’ draws massive attention. The trailer reached 15 million views in just 21 hours across all platforms, with multiple RabGel-related hashtags dominating social media trends.
Angela entered showbiz in 2019 as a member of Viva’s P-Pop Generation, while Rabin was discovered later in 2023 by writer-director Jason Paul Laxamana in Angeles, Pampanga.
Since signing with Viva, Rabin has quickly built an impressive résumé—appearing in ‘The Day I Loved You’, ‘Penduko’, ‘Baby Boy, Baby Girl’, ‘Instant Daddy’, ‘The Ship Show’, and the hit Viva One rom-com ‘Ang Mutya ng Section E,’ which earned him praise and eventually led to the series ‘Seducing Drake Palma’—his first major pairing with Angela.
Their undeniable chemistry in SDP helped turn the RabGel pairing into a fan favorite, leading to another upcoming project, ‘Dating Alyz Perez (Seducing Drake Palma 2).’

During the ‘A Werewolf Boy’ presscon at Viva Café, fans screamed when Rabin himself confirmed he had a crush on Angela long before they became a love team.
He described their pairing as a “dream come true,” adding more fuel to the romance speculations surrounding the two.
Angela, meanwhile, showed her care for family as she recently convinced her father—who works as a Grab driver—to stop working now that she earns enough to support him.
Director Crisanto Aquino had high praise for RabGel, calling them “surprisingly both very good” actors.
He revealed that they changed the ending of the adaptation to better suit Filipino audiences, making it more heartfelt, family-oriented, dramatic, and romcom-leaning compared to the original Song Joong-ki and Park Bo-young film.
On set, Rabin went all-out for his role—studying dog behavior, enduring prosthetics, and performing physically demanding scenes such as crawling in mud.

Even seasoned actress Candy Pangilinan was impressed: “They can act. They really can act.”
Rabin’s popularity is soaring beyond film and TV. This year, he received an Excellency Award for Television Actor from the 3rd Laurus Nobilis Media Awards for ‘Mutya ng Section E’.
He also became: Brand ambassador for The Lab by Blanc Doux (Korean skincare), Ambassador for Yogorino, The first Filipino endorser of Japanese restaurant chain Botejyu, Creator of his own fragrance line, Bin Perfume.
This rise is even more inspiring considering he lost his father at just three years old and grew up as the youngest of three siblings.
Both Rabin and Angela believe they have “special chemistry”—something fans eagerly observe both on and off the screen. Their closeness is undeniable, and while neither has confirmed a romantic relationship, supporters are convinced there’s something special blooming between them.
A Werewolf Boy (PH adaptation) features a powerhouse cast including Lorna Tolentino, Yayo Aguila, Jeffrey Hidalgo, Albie Casiño, Rose Van Ginkel, Annika Co, and many more.
The film opens in cinemas January 14, 2026, as Viva Films’ grand New Year offering.
With a blockbuster-level trailer reception, intense fan support, and a love team whose chemistry feels as real as it looks, Rabin and Angela may just be on their way to becoming Viva’s next big phenomenon—on-screen and possibly off-screen, too.
