Veteran dance group SexBomb Girls is more than ready to go head-to-head with today’s biggest P-pop acts, including BINI and SB19, according to member Jopay Paguia.

During the ‘Fast Talk’ segment of ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ on January 8, host Boy Abunda asked Paguia whether she would accept a dance showdown—or “laban o bawi”—against BINI. Without hesitation, she answered, “Lalaban!”
Beyond competition, Paguia emphasized her admiration for BINI and expressed openness to a future collaboration with the P-pop girl group.
“Sobrang proud ako sa BINI noong nagkaroon po sila ng hype talaga kasi bibihira lang po talagang magkaroon ng P-pop dito,” she said. “So kung sakali pong makakasayaw namin sila, bakit hindi po? Nakakatuwa po ’yon.”
Paguia also gamely said “lalaban” when asked about a potential dance face-off with SB19, signaling the group’s confidence despite the generational gap between the pioneering dance act and today’s chart-topping idols.

Earlier this year, fellow SexBomb member Rochelle Pangilinan likewise voiced her support for BINI, saying she is happy to see a Filipino girl group succeed in mainstream media and connect with younger audiences through Tagalog songs.
Meanwhile, the SexBomb Girls are set to continue their successful comeback with ‘Get, Get Aww! The SexBomb Concert rAWnd 4’ and ‘rAWnd 5’ at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on February 7 and 8. The shows will feature a 360-degree stage, allowing fans a closer and more immersive concert experience.

BINI, composed of Jhoanna, Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, and Sheena, is also making history this year as they prepare to perform at Coachella on April 10 and 17, becoming the first Filipino act to grace the global music festival’s stage.
