Actress-host Karla Estrada appears to be supportive of the relationship between her son Daniel Padilla and his reported girlfriend Kaila Estrada, following the circulation of photos and videos from recent charity activities attended by the couple.

Fans and casual observers expressed excitement after images from a two-day charity event organized by Padilla’s fan club, DJ Forever, spread on social media. Padilla first visited The Child Haus Manila, then returned the following day to Tahanan ng Pagmamahal Children’s Home, Inc. in Barangay Sagad, Pasig City.
On the second day of the outreach, Padilla was accompanied by Kaila, his sister Magui Ford, cousin Jordan Lim, several aunts, and close friends. Also present was Robbie Jaworski, who has been rumored to be Magui’s boyfriend.
Netizens described the atmosphere as “kilig times two,” noting the visible closeness of Padilla and Kaila while they interacted with the children. Some fans even likened the activity to an early Valentine’s celebration, citing the warmth and sweetness seen in the photos and videos shared online.
Adding to the buzz, Estrada reposted on her Instagram Story a reel originally shared by fans of the Daniel–Kaila pairing, which many interpreted as a public sign of approval or “hard launch” of the relationship.
Separate from the charity events, Estrada also recently spoke about love, healing, and second chances in an interview with Melai Cantiveros on the show ‘Kuan On Juan’. Reflecting on relationships, she said: “I think ‘yung kapoy (tiring) na part is pag-invest ng feelings, efforts and everything again. Pero ang pagmamahal hindi ka dapat nakakapoy. Kasi habang may beat ang heart mo, dapat may pag-ibig na dala ’yan.”
She added that she chooses to focus on the positive emotions love brings rather than lingering on pain. “So you’ll process at kapag natapos ka roon sa pain, balik ka sa gaano ba kasarap ang magmahal,” she said.
Estrada shared that she remains open to love even in her 50s, saying, “I hope someone will come into my life. Someone I can specifically pray to the Lord, the person I truly want to be with.”
For now, Estrada said she is content and joyful, especially as a first-time grandmother. “It’s more on joy ’yung nararamdaman ko, malalim na kaligayahan,” she said.
