Marco Gumabao’s love life appears to have hit another rough patch.
According to showbiz insider Ogie Diaz, Marco and Yukii Takahashi have reportedly broken up just weeks after news of their relationship surfaced online.
Diaz shared that the split was “complicated,” though he declined to disclose the specific reason behind the breakup. He emphasized that it is not his place to make the details public, adding that Marco and Yukii should be the ones to address the matter if they choose to.
The two first sparked dating rumors in early January after Yukii posted snippets of what appeared to be a beach getaway.
In her “holiday recap” on Instagram on January 1, Marco was seen in a selfie with Yukii, and in another photo, the actor had his arms wrapped around her.
Days later, on January 4, Marco posted an Instagram Story featuring a video of them jogging together at UP Diliman in Quezon City.
“We’re done,” Yukii could be heard saying in the clip.
“10K done,” Marco replied, giving her a high five. The video carried the caption: “First run of the year!”
Shortly after, the two appeared to confirm their relationship through social media posts. However, speculation quickly followed, with some netizens claiming the romance might have been for publicity.
As of this writing, neither Marco nor Yukii has released an official statement regarding the reported breakup.
Marco was previously in a relationship with actress Cristine Reyes, who confirmed their separation in August 2025, noting at the time that there was no bad blood between them.
