“Artista Academy” is a new talent search produced by TV5. It aims to produce new television artists that will have fame, fortune, and stardom. This is the second artista talent search of the said network after “Star Factor.” There was also a special on-ground show featuring Martin Escudero, Empoy, Morisette Amon, Shy Carlos, Aki Torio, Joshua Davis (a.k.a. Yoyo Tricker), Melbeline, Daniel Matsunaga, Eula Caballero and Ritz Azul.
Now, the “Artista Academy” is willing to give away twenty million pesos for its first Grand Winner. The cash prize is still the biggest amount to be given away in the Philippine TV History of talent searches. The “Artista Academy” will also grant contestants full scholarships to the Asian Academy of Television Arts (AATA) where they will undergo the most intensive training with the best professionals in the industry.
