Actress Julia Montes became emotional after receiving a sweet early birthday surprise from her long-time partner, actor Coco Martin.
Montes shared the moment through a video posted on her Facebook page, showing the actor entering a room while holding a rectangular birthday cake topped with strawberries.
The actress appeared visibly surprised as Martin, together with several staff members, began singing “Happy Birthday” for her. Overwhelmed by the gesture, Montes was seen tearing up before standing up to join the small celebration.
After the short serenade, she blew out the candles on the cake and kissed Martin on the lips. The actress also wrapped her arms around him from behind as she expressed her gratitude for the thoughtful surprise.
“Early birthday surprise from my Palagi. ❤️” Montes wrote in the caption of her post.
Montes will celebrate her 31st birthday on March 19.

Fans can also look forward to seeing the real-life couple reunite on screen in the upcoming series ‘Sigabo’, marking their first television project together in four years.
Their last series together ended with the happy conclusion of their characters in ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’.
Over the years, Montes and Martin have starred together in several projects, including ‘Walang Hanggan’, ‘Ikaw Lamang’, ‘A Moment in Time’, and an episode of Wansapanataym titled ‘Yamashita’s Treasures.’
The couple had long been rumored to be in a relationship before finally confirming it publicly in May 2023.
Meanwhile, Martin’s current action-drama series ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’ is set to air its final episode on March 13, paving the way for the upcoming release of ‘Sigabo’.
Last year, the couple also became the subject of speculation after rumors circulated that they were already married and had children. Martin later clarified that they were not yet married, although the pair are reportedly working on building their dream home together.
Despite the rumors, both actors have remained private about details of their personal life.
