Award-winning actress Cherry Pie Picache topbills the Mother’s Day special episode of “Maalala Mo Kaya” this Saturday (May 12) as she portrays the character of Adelaida, who almost had a perfect marriage with her husband Onofre (Al Tantay) except for one thing missing – their own child.

Eager to raise one, they both decided to adopt not only one but five children. Life was okay until their kids found the truth about their real identities.

How far can a mother sacrifice for her children who keep on driving her away? Together with Cherry Pie and Al in the “MMK” episode are Melai Cantiveros, Martin del Rosario, Sue Ramirez, Devon Seron, Carlo Lacana, Andrea del Rosario, and Eva Darren. It was researched by Alexandra Mae Martin, written by Maan Dimaculangan-Fampulme, and directed by Ruel Bayani.

Don’t miss another remarkable TV masterpiece this Saturday in the longest running drama anthology of Asia, “Maalaala Mo Kaya” (MMK), after “Wansapanataym” on ABS-CBN. For more updates, log on to www.mmk.abs-cbn.com, follow MMKOfficial on Twitter, and “like”www.faceboook.com/MMKOfficial.
