Sparkle artists Martin del Rosario and Migs Almendras earned praise and recognition at the recently concluded CineSilip Film Festival 2025 awards night, where both took home acting honors for their standout performances.
Martin won Best Actor for his compelling portrayal in Haplos sa Hangin, which also bagged 3rd Best Film, Best Screenplay, and Best Musical Score.
Fans lauded his versatility online, with one netizen commenting, “Magaling naman talaga si Martin del Rosario kahit anong role ibigay sa kanya, kayang-kaya niya. Congrats!”
Meanwhile, Migs Almendras received the Best Supporting Actor award for his role as Maki in Dreamboi, the festival’s top winner. In a Facebook exchange with a follower asking if he was hoping for another award in the future, Migs humbly replied:
“I’m at this stage in my life where I’m just enjoying and having a great time. Bonus na lang ‘yung ganun for me I guess.”
The two Sparkle stars are set to reunite in Multwoh (Patay na Patay Sa’yo) — one of the official entries to the upcoming Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival 2026, directed by Rodina Singh.
