Awards and recognitions in television are validations that a network, TV celebrity or a program is effective in terms of providing entertainment value to televiewers. One of the most recently launched awards giving body just presented “Illumine” which is the very 1st GIC Innovation Awards for Television given by Global Innovative College.
Global Innovation College (GIC) aims to recognize outstanding personalities and programs on Philippine television. Held last Saturday on Nov. 7, 2015 at the Global Innovative College Multi-Purpose Hall in Makati City, the event was attended by several TV personalities such as veteran news anchor and host Ariel Ureta representing ABS-CBN and Ryzza Mae of Eat Bulaga.
GIC President Mike Tan was also present to witness their very first GIC Innovation awards.

On Eat Bulaga’s show the awards that they received from the 1st Global Innovative College Awards for Television are proudly displayed at their Broadway studio. Other TV programs like “Umagang Kay Ganda” and “Tonight with Boy Abunda” of ABS-CBN Network even featured GIC awards with special mention.
