GMA Network denied the news of placing Jessica Sojo on 24 Oras to match the offering of rival channel!
Early this week ABS-CBN annouced that veteran broadcasters Noli “Kabayan” De Castro and Korina Sanchez will be back on TV Patrol to counter TV5’s Variety Program Willing Willie. that has been eating up thier viewer share.
At the back of this disclosure rumors spread that GMA Network will upgrade thier own evening newscast by adding Jessica Sojo on 24 Oras. But this was denied by Sandra Aguinaldo, staff of the Kapuso channel’s News and Current Affairs department, claiming they are not threatened by these changes and will contitue to deliver fair and up-to-date news reporting.
24 oras remained the undesputed channel in Mega Manila leading the numbers game in both AGB and TNS TV surveys.
