Unbelievable, Exciting and Amazing Mind Master!

 

The Philippines’ leading mentalist, the master of the sixth sense is now back again on Philippine TV! Nomer Lasala was back for another most requested season on GMA7’s Mind Master. The first season was phenomenal which blew the minds of viewers especially those celebrity guests who experienced mentalism at first hand. The new season which started last July 24 (see the link) promises to be more exciting and more . The new season will run for only six episodes (6 sundays).

Is it possible for a person to actually read someone’s mind? It’s just a normal question that arises when we hear people doing mentalism acts especially mind readings. Hesitation will always be there unless you actually experience it. People will always need to experience it before they’ll believe it.

Mentalism is a performing art in which its practitioners, known as mentalists, appear to demonstrate highly developed mental or intuitive abilities. Performances may appear to include telepathy, clairvoyance, divination, precognition, psychokinesis, mediumship, mind control, memory feats and rapid mathematics. Be surprised, be amazed and believe the mentalism acts of Nomer Lasala! Joining him for the second season is his mentor, David Elefant, a top rank mentalist in Europe, which Nomer met when he was in college. Every episode will have it’s special celebrity host who will tackle the different things about mentalism.

Mind Master shows Nomer’s ability to read someone’s mind. Nomer can do the telepathy, clairvoyance, divination, precognition, psychokinesis, mediumship, mind control, memory feats and rapid mathematics. Some of them was already shown in the past episodes but some of them will be seen in the remaining episodes.

This kind of TV show is really entertaining! I liked the artistic approach as well. Mentalism on television can easily be hit or miss and having the right combination of charisma, charm, personality, entertainment value and timing for public broadcast is a difficult endeavor to achieve.

Like the power of X-men’s Night crawler, Nomer performs mind teleportation on alluring actress Solenn Heusaff, whom he has long wanted to meet and invite to his show. Will he impress the ‘Fire Vixen’ Solenn?

On the next act, he will use his power ring just like the Green Lantern, to project the images in the mind of Isabelle Daza. How he would be able to perform this feat to project the images to Isabelle using mentalism?

Next, Nomer will now do Superman’s X-ray vision on Alex de Rossi, who gets caught off guard upon experiencing Nomer’s extraordinary activity.

Lastly, the Mind Master’s mentor David Elefant, show off his super power as he performs another super power stunt similar to Professor X’s telekeneisis.The episode is entitled “Heroes”, hosted by Ogie Alcasid
