ABS-CBN, the country’s largest multimedia conglomerate, has been granted all the media rights for the live broadcast of the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.
The network’s sister channels Balls (SkyCable Channel 34), the home of the world’s biggest sporting events, and Studio 23 will both broadcast the matches live during the course of Champions League and Europa tournaments starting from the 2012 to 2013 season, which begins in September.
Balls’ Channel’s well-visited online platform www.ballschannel.tv and other mobile services of ABS-CBN have also been awarded the media content of the prestigious games, which feature Europe’s most coveted football clubs.
ABS-CBN recently inked an agreement with UEFA giving the media giant all the exclusive media rights for a comprehensive coverage of the 2012 to 2015 UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League seasons.
