“TV Patrol” recently gathered its 50 loyal online followers as a part of the year-long celebration of the 25th anniversary of the country’s leading and most trusted newscast.
Aside from an exclusive tour around the ABS-CBN studios, the ‘TV Peeps’ also engaged in a meet-and-greet with ABS-CBN’s news personalities, including “TV Patrol” anchor ‘Kabayan’ Noli De Castro, Star Patroller Gretchen Fullido, news reporter Sol Aragones, ‘Kuya’ Kim Atienza, News and Current Affairs head Ging Reyes, and “TV Patrol” executive producer Joey Caburnida.
The social media-savvy ‘TV Peeps,’ some of whom call themselves ‘Failonians/Failonics,’ ‘Kaibigan ni Korina,’ ‘Pinky Webbloggers,’ and eager followers of ‘Kabayan,’ were also treated to a merienda, brought home special “TV Patrol 25” shirts and mugs, and delivered their own voice projection of “TV Patrol.”
