“Yesterday’s Bride” is an upcoming Filipino drama series produced by GMA Network featuring Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino.
Lovi Poe landed as the title role for “Yesterday’s Bride.” The title sounds controversial with a working title of “The Borrowed Wife,” (Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino topbill “The Borrowed Wife) which will replace Jennylyn Mercado starrer “Hindi Ka na Mag-iisa” on GMA Afternoon Prime.
According to Lovi, “Yesterday’s Bride” is a love story and her leading man in this series will be Rocco Nacino. They’re first paired in the four-part TV special titled “Mistaken Identity” which aired before “Eat Bulaga” last year. Lovi was last seen in the primetime soap “Legacy” as Natasha Alcantara and Rocco as Darwin Alejandro in afternoon drama “The Good Daughter.”
Directed by Gil Tejada, the series will premiere on October 2012 on GMA Afternoon Prime block
