Drama series “Indio” will lead the upcoming shows of GMA Network for the new year.
This is GMA Network’s biggest project to start in 2013. The station recently unveiled all its upcoming shows at the GMA Trade Launch event held at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-la Hotel in Makati City.
“Indio” is a historical epic, a big project that the daring Actor-Senator for next year. It is a teleserye that will shed light on some important historical events how Spain’s subdued the Philippine Archipelago and established sovereignty over it for 333 long years.
Indio was conceptualized by GMA Network and written by Suzette Doctolero, who likewise penned the epicserye “Amaya” which is starred by Marian Rivera.
The series is slated to premier January 14.
