December 6, 2012 — Santa Monica, CA — The video for “Scream & Shout,” the new single from multi-platinum producer and songwriter will.i.am and featuring Britney Spears, has racked up nearly 18 million views on VEVO since its premiere on November 28th.
Produced by Lazy Jay, “Scream & Shout” climbed to No. 1 on the iTunes Singles chart. The relentlessly catchy dance track, featuring will.i.am’s trademark minimalist beats, hit the top spot on November 29th and remained lodged there for nearly a week after will.i.am and Spears premiered the eye-popping video on The X Factor US. (will.i.am has served as a guest mentor for X Factor judge Spears this season.)
“Scream & Shout” is the lead “Playlist” review in this week’s Rolling Stone, who wrote: “Take cover, America! … the nation’s radio programmers don’t stand a chance. Undeniable!”
