After the official release of the 8 entries for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2012, Sisterakas and One More Try, both Star Cinema distributed movies rank to the top spots of the box-office.
Thousands of families nationwide celebrated Christmas by watching two of Star Cinema’s grand movie entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2012–the comedy flick “Sisterakas” starred by Vice Ganda, Kris Aquino and AiAi delas Alas, and the modern family drama “One More Try” topbilled by Angel Locsin, Dingdong Dantes, Zanjoe Marudo and Angelica Panganiban. This was proven by the official first day box-office results releasd by the MMFF organizer Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) where “Sisterakas” landed on the no.1 spot with P39.2 million, while “One More Try” ranked no.3 with P13.6 million.
