While the controversial feud involving the Barretto family has been capturing the headlines, the witty gang of “Banana Split Extra Scoop” gave their take on topic in the show’s popular segment “Hot Issue.”

The cast reenacted the conflict involving mother Inday Barretto and her daughter Gia, both defenders of former Kapamilya star Claudine, on one side, and Inday’s son Joaquin defending “The Buzz” host Gretchen on the other side.
In the said episode, Pooh, Melai Cantiveros, and Badjie Mortiz parodied Inday, Gia and Joaquin delivering their respective press statements. The spoof ended with a possible reconciliation between Gretchen (played by Sunshine Garcia) and Claudine (Saicy Aguila).
