May 31, 2013 (LONDON, UK) – The Filipino Channel (TFC) brings this year’s Independence Day and Barrio Fiesta celebrations to full gear as it brings its newest offerings and Kapamilya heartthrobs to the TFC Barrio Fiesta Caravan in nine key cities in Europe between June and July, in partnership with various community-based Filipino organizations and Philippine Embassies.
Headlining the stellar line-up is ultimate heartthrob and Apoy Sa Dagat star Piolo Pascual who will romance kapamilyas at the Yorkshire Barrio Fiesta on June 1 at the Ripon Racecourse Boroughbridge Road, Ripon, North Yorkshire HG4 1UG in partnership with the Yorkshire Maharlika Filipino Club headed by Chairperson and TFC agent Lolita Brody.
Gracing the June 7 Kapamilya Party sa Kalayaan ng Pilipinas in Storsalen, Menighet, Oslo Norway is multi-awarded, breakthrough actor Jericho Rosales. The Independence Day Celebrations mounted by TFC, in partnership with The New Filipino Working Group, also celebrates TFC’s renewed engagement in Norway with its Direct Agent, Ramil Buquid at the helm.
Rosales continues his tour as he heads on to the Kalayaan 2013 festivities in Piazza Ankara in historic Rome, Italy on June 9 in partnership with the Philippine Independence Day Association.
TFC Barrio Fiesta Caravan 2013 does a parallel run in Morden, UK as it brings Prince of Comedy Vhong Navarro and fellow former Streetboys members Sphencer Reyes and Michael Sesmundo to celebrate the Independence Day in Surrey also on June 9.
The Independence Day at Morden, presented by TFC in partnership with Bayanihan UK under the leadership of Chairperson Teresita Juco, will also provide the venue for 17 talents to vie for the TFCkat UK Country Finals. The winning finalist will represent the United Kingdom in the TFCkat Europe Finals on July 21st at the Barrio Fiesta sa London.
Kapamilya hottie and actor-singer Paulo Avelino takes the wheel at the Northern Ireland Barrio Fiesta 2013 on June 29 at the Lower Botanic Gardens, Belfast, Northern Ireland. In partnership with Northern Ireland Barrio Fiesta Committee headed by Chairperson Katrina Albarico, TFC will also feature Reyes and Sesmundo.
Avelino, who recently starred in the teleserye Kahit Konting Pagtingin, makes a stop-over in Madrid on June 30 for the Madrid Barrio Fiesta at the Colegio La Inmaculada, Marillac (c/ Modesto la Fuente 11 28010 for the annual festivities in the scenic country of Spain, in partnership with the Filipino Community in Madrid and the Philippine Embassy in Madrid.
Avelino makes a “u turn” to Denmark as he leads the TFC Kapamilya Fiestahan Denmark 2013 on July 6 at the Auditorium Frederiksberg, Tekniske Gymnasium, Staer, Johansesn Vej 7, 2000 Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. The event will be mounted by TFC in partnership with the organization Buklod headed by Rosemarie Alonzo-Christensen.
Avelino makes a final stop as he entertains our kababayans at the Pista sa Paris on July 7 at the Stade dela Muette 60 Bd. Lannes 75016 open grounds in cooperation with FilCom Paris. TFC will also mount the TFCkat France Country Finals on the same day.
Sexy cover boy and former Kahit Puso’y Masugatan star Jake Cuenca takes his turn as he joins kababayans for the Dublin Barrio Fiesta in Ireland on July 28 at the National Basketball Arena, Tymon Park, Tallaght, Dublin 24. TFC will also mount the TFCkat Dublin Finals during the event which will be staged in partnership with Bayanihan Entertainment headed by their Managing Director Angela Norton.
