“Ikaw Lamang” is an epic drama with romance and action elements. Based on the photos, Kim will be playing a rich girl while Coco is a poor man. Jake is also going to play a rich guy while Julia is from a different tribe.
This is the first team up of Coco and Kim, and also for Julia and Jake. It will be a reunion project for Julia and Coco after the phenomenal “Walang Hanggan.” Also, since this is a period drama, it’s interesting how ABS-CBN will tackle this since the network rarely does genres like this.
Described by Dreamscape Entertainment as a once in a lifetime TV event, “Ikaw Lamang” is an epic love story that will transcend boundaries, be it status or time. Directed by Malu Sevilla and Avel Sunpongco (who both helmed Coco’s “Juan dela Cruz”), this period action-drama is slated to premiere this March on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida.
