While struggling to forgive the person who ‘ruined his life’, Carlo ultimately realizes that there is still life after being diagnosed HIV-positive and that AIDS is not a death sentence.
As they continue to live their life, Carlo and his wife Janis (Helga Krapf) face the uncertainty of raising their daughter who may or may not have contracted HIV from Janis (a possible case of mother-to-child transmission).
