The 30th PMPC Star Awards for Movies awarding ceremonies happened March 9, 2014 at Solaire Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.

The PMPC Star Awards for Movies turns 3 decades of recognizing excellence in local film industry. The 30th PMPC Star Awards for Movies awards night was hosted by Robi Domingo, Maja Salvador, Toni Gonzaga and Piolo Pascual.

This year’s biggest winners are Vice Ganda for Vice Ganda, “Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy” and KC Concepcion for “Shoot To Kill:  Boy Golden,” both movie entries for 2013 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). Local film outfits Viva Films, Regal Films and Star Cinema were hailed as Iconic Movie Producers of Philippine Cinema.

Movie Screenwriter of the Year:
Erik Matti and Michiko Yamamoto, On The Job
