Chris Algieri, nutritionist by profession, took his toll to fight for WBO welterweight title against Filipino icon Manny Pacquiao on November 22, 2014 in the Venetian Macao’s Cotai Arena in Macau.

He even left a mark to his opponent when he accidentally head-butt Shiming that opened a cut on the bridge of his nose, the first cut he suffered in his career as a pro. Nevertheless, that doesn’t stop Shiming to win.
One of the highlights of the main event is singing the National Anthem and everyone was really in awe hearing the chorus nailed it perfectly. First time ever in the history of boxing that a choir sung the Philippine national anthem.
Mommy Dionisia casting prayer; While Manny let away left jabs in the second round that sent Algieri down but he argues that it was a slip. And it happened again on the 6th round. And the judges made its final decision. With the total of 6 knockdowns, scored 120 – 102 after 12 rounds of action.
The undefeated Manny “Pacman” Paquiao once again ruled the boxing world.
