The hottest love team today is set for another groundbreaking movie to show this February 25, Crazy Beautiful You. After the success of “She’s Dating The Gangster”, everyone is looking forward if this new movie can top the “kilig factor” of the previous one.
On a recent Bloggers’ Conference held in Trinoma last Sunday, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla a.k.a KathNiel once proved that they can make the crowd follow them in an instant. They made history again to organize the very first bloggers’ conference in a large venue.
KathNiel together with blockbuster movie director Mae Cruz-Alviar and writer Carmi Raymundo gave snippets of the much-awaited movie, plus the off-cam kilig of the popular duo.
Contrary to the characters they portrayed, Jackie (Kathryn) is a rebellious soul that was sent to a medical mission in Tarlac by her mother (Lorna Tolentino) hoping to turn her out better. Then she met Kiko (Daniel), a cheerful guy who will make sure that Jackie will get her endeavor done. Until they discover something crazy and beautiful.
How is it different from your previous “kilig” movie? Kathryn said, “Mas mature tong sa Crazy Beautiful You and as you di ba see sa trailer pa lang makikita nyo na yung sa character namin ni Dj, magkabaliktad kami ngayon and makikita nyo yung first time ko dito mag-play ng medyo rebellious kid, medyo edgy, ganyan, so first time nyo makikita and on big screen pa.”
“Iba ito sa She’s Dating….unang-una sa mga characters namin ni Kathryn at yung sa story. Ito mas tutoong-tutoo na talagang nangyayari ngayon at simpleng-simple yung istorya pero napakaganda nung istorya, oh my God!” Daniel wittingly added.
When asked if keeping the body fit and showing some skin is part of the preparation for the role (as what we noticed on the trailer), Madam Baby (Kathryn) shyly answered, “Nung ano pa lang, parang story con pa lang, sinabihan kami na medyo kelangan, hindi naman kelangan magpalaki or super magpa-sexy pero mas gawing fit lang yung katawan para iba yung makita nila physically kasi makakatulong talaga yun.”
Joining KathNiel in the movie is Lorna Tolentino, Gabby Concepcion, Inigo Pascual, Kiray Celis, Neil Coleta and a lot more.
Crazy Beautiful You is showing on February 25 in all cinemas nationwide.
