After the success of his two albums, Bryan Termulo is set to another breakthrough in the music industry, this time version 2.0. Taking one step at a time, Bry (as what his fans call him) made sure that this step he is taking is a flight higher. From placing second in Pinoy Pop Superstar back in 2007 and winning silver in the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) Bryan released his first album entitled BEGIN. Five years later, as a career progress, he moved to ABS-CBN and became part of Star Magic and was chosen to be part of all boy group Boys R Boys. He then also released his 2nd album HANGGANG NGAYON. His songs were heard in almost all of Kapamilya’s soap. He was the voice behind the song Dadalhin as the official theme song of now defunct Walang Hanggan starred by Coco Martin and Julia Montes.
On March 26, Warner Music Philippines officially launched BRYAN TERMULO as their newest artist. Still in partner with BWB Records, they will release his first single “Erase Ka Na Sa Puso Ko” via iTunes, Spotify and Deezer on March 29. Bryan shared us some information about his newest single during our light interview with the Prince of Teleserye Theme Songs. His single talks about a heartache of a love who has suffered and is now trying to move on from his past love. “Parang ano yan eh, trying to remove all the memories. It tells about parang kakalimutan na kita, wala ka ng puwang sa puso ko. So more on letting go and starting over again,” Bryan said.
However, there is no particular person he erased to his life. The song is clearly for everyone who experience heart break and what kind of pain they experienced. Simply the title of the song is saying goodbye to the person who have hurt us. Just like the trend nowadays, people are more on to “hugot” songs. It is easier for them to define their pain when they hear a song that matches the exact words they want to say.
And Warner Music Philippines are here to change the way people knew Bryan Termulo. As for Bryan himself, he wants to be a music icon that everyone will remember for so long. And with that face, talent and the right attitude, Warner and BWB, it is not impossible.
