Despite the bad reviews about this movie, “Para sa Hopeless Romantic” starring James Reid and Nadine Lustre for Star Cinema and Viva Films earned at least ₱8M on its opening day. Though it’s far from the usual Star Cinema box office hits like “You’re My Boss” and “Crazy Beautiful You,” we can say that “Para sa Hopeless Romantic” is a moderate hit, not that flop but not a box office hit.
JaDine’s first movies “Ang Diary ng Panget” and “Talk Back and Your Dead” reached ₱100M before it closed down on cinemas, we’ll see if the fate of “Para sa Hopeless Romantic” will be the same.
