ABS-CBN’s “Maalaala Mo Kaya” will tell the story of a teenage girl who was forced to work as a guest relations officer abroad. The upcoming drama episode this Saturday (May 23) will be topbilled by Kapamilya teen stars Sue Ramirez and Celine Lim.
Because of her dream to give her family a better life, Liza (Sue) did everything to be able to work as an entertainer in Japan. However, Liza’s life crumbled when she realized that her recruiter fooled her, and she was forced to work as a GRO in a club.
What were the sacrifices did Liza have to make just to send money to her parents and siblings? How was she able to regain her self-respect after the hell she has been through as a GRO?
