A lot of prominent personalities attended the blissful wedding of Kapamilya actress-singer Toni Gonzaga and director Paul Soriano, held on Friday, June 12 (Philippine Independence Day) at Taytay United Methodist Church. Most of the attendees were from ABS-CBN, led by the Network’s president and CEO, Ms. Charo Santos-Concio.
According to an article posted by Aster Amoyo on Journal Online, it mentioned that everyone’s aware of Gonzaga’s career beginnings was via GMA-7’s noontime show ‘Eat Bulaga’, but surprisingly, none from the Kapuso Network or anyone from the said show were spotted during the wedding.
Other celebrities who celebrated the union of Gonzaga-Soriano were ABS-CBN officials: Cory Vidanes, Linggit Tan, and Director Laurenti Dyogi. Meanwhile, Kapamilya stars like Kris Aquino, Bianca Gonzales-Intal, KC Concepcion, Gary Valenciano and his wife Angeli were also present in attendance.
The principal sponsors were Manila Mayor Joseph `Erap’ Estrada, Rep. Manny Pacquiao, Sen. Bongbong Marcos, Dra. Vicki Belo, Kris Aquino and Boy Abunda, who was represented by Aquino’s son Bimby Aquino-Yap.
