ABS-CBN’s hit legal drama “Ipaglaban Mo” tackles the case of an obsessive lover who killed a helpless teenage girl this Saturday (Aug 22).
Martin (Marco Gumabao) and Cherry (Michelle Vito) met at a boarding house and instantly clicked as friends. They grew so close together that they almost seem inseparable from each other. Despite this closeness, however, Cherry sees Martin only as a friend.
One day, Cherry’s classmate takes her home and Martin, upon seeing the guy, quickly snaps and pushes him away. He then threatens Cherry that he will kill her if she will let other men court her.
Because of Martin’s violent behavior, Cherry decides to stay away from him. This pushes Martin to the limits and Cherry pays the price with her own life.
