For the past two months, the Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza’s split screen romance has been consistently trending in Twitter.
Even the people around the world and the stars from other countries is asking why its trending almost every day.
Actress Barbie Xu, who played “San Chai” in their most popular TV series “Meteor Garden,” also was very inquisitive and asked what is #Aldub all about.
Aldub fans right away answered Barbie Xu’s tweet. She even thought that it’s a kind of pet.
Just last Saturday, September 19, 2016, #AlDubMostAwaitedDate got as high as 12.1 million tweets. Even from the last episode of Eat Bulaga’s “Kalyeserye”, with hashtag #AlDubTheTrials once again become trending not only in Philippines but worldwide.
