It has been 20 years since the veteran actor Eddie Garcia and Superstar Nora Aunor have worked together in 1996 for the movie “Bakit May Kahapon Pa”, where Nora won as “Best Actress” by 1st East Asia Film and Television Award (Malaysia). They will be joining their forces for the upcoming GMA Afternoon prime block; “Little Mommy”.
This is the first ever TV series of Nora Aunor in GMA Network since she became “Kapamilya” and “Kapatid” for the past years. The 62-year old Superstar will be playing the role of a grandmother to Kris Bernal as Annie Batumbahay.
Eddie Garcia, the veteran actor and very professional to his co-stars will be the grandfather of Anne which is Kris Bernal that has a mind of a 9-year old because of her mental disorder.
According to the article published by GMA News Online last Wednesday October 7, 2015 Eddie’s character to the primetime series is a very optimistic one; whereas he will be seen on the show as one happy grandfather to Kris Bernal and Chlaui Mercado. For him there is nothing he could not learn for as long as you’re willing to try.
Other celebrities that will showcase their acting skills are: Mark Herras, Kempee De Leon, Sunshine Dizon, Bembol Roco and Renz Fernandez. “Little Mommy” is set to go on-air on November 16, 2015 as the replacement show for “Buena Familia” of Angelu de Leon, Kylie Padilla and Martin del Rosario.
